Owners Unscripted is a place for real conversation among business owners, across the podcast, our Live in-person events, our Online events, and our community. Owners Unscripted is operated by Expert Grant Ecosystem LLC ("we," "us," "our"). When you listen, register, attend, join, or reach out, we collect a small amount of information to make those things work, and we treat it with care.
This notice explains, in plain language, what we collect when you interact with the Owners Unscripted brand as a member of its audience, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is meant to be read in a few minutes, not studied.

This notice covers your interactions with Owners Unscripted as a member of its audience, including when you:
If you have signed an Owners Unscripted Participation Agreement or Podcast Guest Release, that agreement and the Expert Grant Ecosystem Privacy Policy and DPA also apply to how we handle your information through our platform systems. Where this notice and that Policy both speak to the same thing, the Policy carries the detailed legal terms.

We do not ask you for sensitive information to take part in Owners Unscripted, and we ask you not to post other people's private information in the community.
We use your information to:
If you are a podcast guest or join a recorded event, the specific rights around your recording and how it can be used are set out in your Podcast Guest Release or Participation Agreement.
We share your information with the service providers that help us run Owners Unscripted, such as hosting and edge infrastructure, email and text delivery, our community platform, scheduling tools, transcription and summarization, content moderation, basic analytics, and the AI tools we use to assist with those tasks. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

We keep one canonical list there rather than duplicating it, so it stays current.
We do not sell your personal information.
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, and for as long as the law requires. The detailed, tier-by-tier retention periods live in the Expert Grant Ecosystem Privacy Policy and DPA (Annex A.2). Recordings and published episodes are kept and distributed on an ongoing basis as part of the podcast and event archive, as described in your Guest Release or Participation Agreement.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and CPRA, Quebec Law 25, and the Swiss FADP. Those statutory rights, and how to exercise them, are described in detail in the Expert Grant Ecosystem Privacy Policy and DPA, which applies to our processing of your information through our platform systems.
Owners Unscripted is for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.
We may update this notice from time to time as Owners Unscripted grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. The current version always lives at ownersunscripted.com/legal/privacy.
